Thank You, Trans-Siberian Orchestra! 

GEYSO would like to thank all the sponors for the event as well, and more importantly, thank you to the fans that attended!

TSO raised over $2,900 for the students of the Greater Erie Youth Symphony Orchestra.  Every school year, GEYSO instructs well over 2,000 students how to play the violin.  Between the 2010-2011 school year and the 2011-2012 school year, our after-school program (where students can continue what they learned during the in-school program), has more than tripled in size of students joining!  The program is free to students, which is why it is so important to help our organization.  With the increase in need of this program in our area, GEYSO is in need of more violins and instructors, also.  With groups such as the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, we can continue our programming for so many youth in our community!

The First Annual George and Mary D'Angelo Scholarship Dinner on Friday October 7, 2011 at the Zem Zem Shrine Club was a huge success!  Thank you to Dr. and Mrs. D'Angelo, Roberta Guaspari, the Erie Community Foundation, UPMC Hamot, and most importantly, all the donors who made the event possible!

Dr. George and Mary D'Angelo have moved to Massachusetts, and we want to wish them the best of luck and happiness!  We would like to thank them for their incredible philanthropy to the Erie Community for so many years!  Thank You!
